After completion of B.Pharm, an individual can opt for any of the following avenues:
(1) Further Study: After qualifying GATE examination or All Indian Competitive Examination in Pharmacy one can pursue a course in either of the following:
  • Master in Pharmacy [ M.Pharm]
  • Master in Biotechnology
  • Master in Business Administration [Pharm.]
  • Master in Technology [Pharm]
(2) Joining in a Service: The various avenues available for a Pharmacy graduate are:
In Pharmaceutical Industries:
  • Production area
  • Quality Control Department
  • Research & Development Section
  • Packaging Department
  • Regulatory Affairs
In Government Departments:
  • Drug Control office of State Government
  • Drug Control office of Central Government
  • Scientists in Central Drug Laboratories
  • Scientists in State Drug Laboratories
  • Scientists in different institutes like CSIR, ICMR, etc
